Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football will air on 10 stations across Louisiana including the flagship, WGSO 990am New Orleans.

The best prep football coverage in the state of Louisiana is set to begin this evening.

The 23rd year of Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football report kicks off from 6:05-11 p.m. tonight and each Friday night during the prep football season.

The show begins with Countdown to the Original, live from Lakeview Harbor Restaurant, 911 Harrison Avenue in New Orleans on John Curtis Christian night. Patriots head coach J.T. Curtis will join Rene Nadeau of CrescentCitySports.com and all Patriots fans, supporters and alumni are welcome to attend.

The Countdown show includes previews at game sites from the top games in Louisiana and analysis from Nadeau and Curtis.

The Original begins at 7 p.m. with Ken Trahan, who is joined by Ed Daniels of Friday Night Football on ABC 26 and NOLA 38. There will be live reports from 35 games, along with scoreboard updates with Jude Young and Matt Sims.

Following the games, winning coaches from big games will join Ken and Rene. In the 10 p.m. hour, top analysts from around Louisiana join Ken and Rene to break down what transpired in their respective areas, including Lee Brecheen of Louisiana Football Magazine from Baton Rouge, Jeff Boggs from KANE, 1240 AM in New Iberia, Scott Ferrell of The Shreveport Times, Mark Cramer of ESPN 97.7 FM in Monroe/Ruston, George Pepis of CrescentCitySports.com from Central Louisiana, Brent St. Germain of HoumaToday.com in Terrebonne Parish, Rod Walker from The New Orleans Advocate and George Faust from KLFY in Lafayette.
