Former Tulane athletic director Troy Dannen is on the move again.

Less than six months on the job at the University of Washington, multiple outlets report Dannen has been hired for the same position at the University of Nebraska to replace Trev Alberts.

The Marshalltown, Iowa native is heading back to the midwest where he served as Northern Iowa athletic director before his eight-year stint at Tulane. Washington hired Dannen in October.

The Athletic reports Dannen received a six-year contract worth $11.1 million to take the job in Lincoln.

Dannen was busy in Seattle, hiring head football coach Jedd Fisch from Arizona. Kalen DeBoer departed for Alabama after leading the Huskies to the national title game. Dannen also fired men’s basketball coach Mike Hopkins this month.

Tulane tabbed David Harris to replace Troy Dannen, hiring an athletic director from Northern Iowa to fill their opening for the second straight time.
