Former LSU forward Ben Simmons agrees to max contract with Sixers
Former LSU forward Ben Simmons has agreed to a max contract extension with the Philadelphia 76ers, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported on Monday.
Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons has agreed to a five-year, $170 million maximum contract extension, agent Rich Paul tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

The 22-year old Australian will sign a deal for $170 million over five years.
The 2016 No. 1 overall draft pick will make $8.1 million in 2019-20, the final season of his rookie contract. Despite his shooting limitations, the 6-foot-10 Simmons is considered one of the NBA’s most versatile players.
