NATCHITOCHES – Field conditions following almost a day-and-a-half of rain forced Northwestern State to cancel a baseball game for the second straight day.

The Demons and Southern were to play at 5 p.m. Saturday, but heavy rains left Brown-Stroud Field in an unplayable condition.

Sunday’s doubleheader at 1 p.m. will take place as scheduled. The teams will add a 6 p.m. March 27 game at Southern to replace the twice-rained out series opener.
