The 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior from St. Louis, Mo., played two years at Vanderbilt before transferring to LSU for the 2023 season. The right-handed pitcher had chances for the Tigers as a weekend starter and a reliever but struggled before falling out of favor late in LSU’s national championship run. He was 2-2 with a 7.79 ERA in 19 games with eight starts.
Little averaged 94 mph on his fastball in 2023 while topping out at 98. His primary offspeed offering is a down-breaking curveball in the upper 70’s.
The Mets selected Little 576th overall in the 19th round of the MLB Draft this week.
