LSU senior offensive analyst Carter Sheridan is set to become the running backs coach at Tulane, On3’s Matt Zenith reported Monday.

The New Orleans native who both played and coached at St. Augustine, worked at Tulane prior to joining the LSU staff in 2020. He previously spent 12 years with the New Orleans Saints. Sheridan first joined the Saints as an intern in 2004 and then was elevated to an assistant coach role in 2006.

Zenith also reports Green Wave running backs Derrick Sherman is expected to move to wide receivers coach.
