Broncos sign RB Latavius Murray off Saints practice squad

A former Saints running back returned to the team and then the field in London.

Now he’s heading to Denver.

The Broncos are signing Latavius Murray off the New Orleans practice squad, Tom Pelissero of NFL Media first reported Monday.

Denver lost running back Javonte Williams for the season with a major knee injury. Joining his fifth NFL team, Murray will provide depth for Broncos top option Melvin Gordon. the 32-year old previously played for New Orleans for two seasons (2019-2020).

with Alvin Kamara again sidelined witha rib injury, the Saints activated Murray against the Vikings. Murray made the most of his 11 carriers, rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown.
