25th Year of Original debuts tonight on NASH ICON 106.1, network stations

The 25th year of Ken Trahan’s Original Louisiana Prep Football Report debuts tonight on 106.1 FM NASH ICON in greater New Orlans as well as through The Original Network around Louisiana.

Countdown to The Original kicks things off at 6 p.m. live from Bienvenue Bar & Grill at 467 Hickory Avenue in Harahan with Ro Brown and Les East of CrescentCitySports.com on ‘Grace King Fighting Irish Night’ as part of our weekly school theme at the remote. Countdown to The Original features previews of the top games in the state. Coach Chadwick Lewis of the Fighting Irish will be the guest, and all Grace King supporters are invited to attend.

The Original on NASH ICON 106.1The Original begins at 7 p.m. with reports from up to 40 games around the state and scoreboard updates from Jude Young and Emmanuel Pepis of CrescentCitySports.com.

Along with reports and scores from games, The Original features interviews with winning coaches as well as expert analysis from every major metropolitan area in the state.

The Original Network of radio stations throughout the state includes 97.7 FM in Ruston/Monroe, WSLA 1560 AM/93.9 FM in Slidell, KEZM 1310 AM in Sulphur/Lake Charles, KANE, 1240 AM in New Iberia, Caddo Country 105.3 FM and The Sports Rebel 1320 AM in Vivian.

The show is partnered with CrescentCitySports.com, home of the most comprehensive statewide LHSAA football scoreboard presented by the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The scoreboard is also available through the LHSAA’s official aop.
