Louisiana high school football scrimmages highlight state officials’ camp Aug. 11-12

The Louisiana High School Officials Association (LHSOA) will host their annual Football Officials’ Camp next weekend in Shreveport on Friday and Saturday, August 11-12. Instructional classes are set to open and close the weekend with a strong Southeastern Conference (SEC) influence, featuring SEC Coordinator Jeff Roberson and SEC football official Wayne Winkler.

However, the camp is centered on fThese scrimmages allow officials the opportunity to hone their skills and give fans an early taste of high school football action.

The schedule is as follows:
• 4pm – Captain Shreve vs. Northwood (Shreveport)
• 5pm – Airline vs. Minden
• 6pm – West Monroe vs. CE Byrd
• 7pm – Parkway vs. North DeSoto
• 8pm – Haughton vs. Benton

Tickets are $5 at the door. Gates open at 3pm for the general public.
