Meet-record 258 points propel Nuggets to GCAC repeat

Xavier University of Louisiana repeated Saturday as women’s team champion of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships at Tad Gormley Stadium, winning six events on day two and scoring a meet-record 258 points.

Xavier tennis star Mariia Borodii earns local March Athlete of the Month honor

Mariia Borodii, the undefeated star of the Xavier University women’s tennis team, has been selected as the Greater New Orleans Amateur Athlete of the Month honor for March. Monthly award-winners are chosen in voting by the Greater New Orleans Sports Award Selection Committee, sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
