It was a busy night on mats around the area Wednesday evening.

In Metairie, Rummel fought off Bonnabel 41-36.

Each team won five head-to-head matches but the Raiders prevailed with two forfeit wins to one for the Bruins.

Scoring pins for Rummel were Logan Bock (132), Chris Montalbano (136), Mark Donegan (145) and Jack Piwko (160). Winning by fall for Bonnabel were Sergio Maldonado (113), Carlos Alvarez (126), Christian Che (182), Malik Smith (220) and Alejandro Nunez (285).

At Hahnville, Shaw downed the Tigers 48-33.

The Eagles won seven of the 11 matches contested.

Scoring pins for Shaw were Raheem Bonnet (120), Anthony Ribando (126), Ashton Surrency (132), Todd Ritter (138), Justin Gaubert (145), Michael Seal (152) and Devin Skipps (170). Winning by fall for Hahnville were Allen Mire (160) and Logan Brimmer (220).

In a tri-meet at Mandeville, Fontainebleau was best, defeating both Chalmette and Mandeville. The Owls defeated the Skippers to earn a victory as well.

In a dual meet, Covington won at Archbishop Hannan 63-16.
