Wrestling: Jesuit edges Holy Cross; John Curtis defeats De La Salle

In a battle of long-time rivals and top level Division I programs, Jesuit downed Holy Cross 33-25 in dual meet action Wednesday night.

The Blue Jays won eight of the 14 matches contested, winning the dual by sweeping all three higher weight divisions.

Scoring falls for Jesuit were Michael Barnett (106) and Jackson Caldararo (195).

Winning by pin for Holy Cross was Matthew Krail (126).

The best match was at 138 pounds with Grant Herbert of Jesuit edging Sebastian Vidacovich of Holy Cross 8-6.

John Curtis Christian defeated De La Salle 42-26.

The two teams split the four matches contested.
