A former Destrehan quarterback and assistant coach, Daniel Luquet went to Woodlawn to be the offensive coordinator for Brett Beard. When Beard became head coach at Live Oak, Luquet took over as head coach. Now Luquet is headed back to St. Charles Parish.

Nick Saltaformaggio has brought Luquet on to his Hahnville staff as offensive coordinator, reports The Advocate.

Luquet compiled a record of 18-25 in four seasons at Woodlawn including two winning records with the Class 4A Panthers. Woodlawn was 3-7 last fall.
