With Alvin Kamara banged up, Saints bring in Tavaris Cadet for workout
Travaris Cadet is a familiar name to Saints fans. It has come up again.
The veteran running back will work out with the team on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
The #Saints are working out a familiar face tomorrow, as RB Travaris Cadet is en route to New Orleans. He’s played for them twice already.

Cadet played in 58 games over five years during two different stints with New Orleans from 2012-2016. He has also played for the Patriots, 49ers, Panthers and Bills. The 30-year old out of Appalachian State has just 197 career yards rushing but has managed 967 yards receiving with a 8.1 per catch average.
The Saints may need Cadet to resume he past role on passing downs if he’s signed since Alvin Kamara has picked up ankle and knee injuries within the past week. However, Dwayne Washington would be more likely join Latavius Murray in filling a potential Kamara void.
