Winless Southwood receives fines as losses now considered forfeits

As if the Southwood football team didn’t already have an 0-10 season hanging over its head, the Cowboys were informed Tuesday a compliance issue will force it to forfeit seven games this season.

Southwood must list those games as forfeits and pay an undisclosed fine to the LHSAA for playing an ineligible player.
