Due to emergency repairs to the Michael Williamson Complex (Bldg. 11 on Delgado’s City Park campus), the facility will be unable to host Delgado’s 2018-2019 home basketball slate. As a result, the majority of the Dolphins’ home contests (with the exception of one date) will be played at The Alario Center, located at 2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego, Louisiana 70094.

During the early hours of September 27, a pipe burst in the ceiling of the Williamson Center, causing an excess amount of water to flow into the facility. Inspection of the damage revealed that the playing surface was compromised, warranting a replacement of the floor. Additional repairs and upgrades will also be completed during the teams’ absence from the facility this season.

The 2018-2019 Delgado Basketball season will tip off on Thursday, November 1 against Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi. Delgado’s Women’s team will host Southwest Mississippi on Monday, November 5 at 6:00 at the Alario Center and the Delgado Men will host Southeastern Baptist College on November 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dolphins’ first home stands of the season. Conference play will begin on January 30 and continue through the end of the regular season in February 2019.
