The Westlake offensive line returns three starters from a year ago in senior center Caden Powers (6-0, 245), senior left guard Hunter Witherwax and junior right tackle Evan Gross (6-2, 215). Senior left tackle Chris Dunn and senior right guard Ryan Fournet are the new starters on the Rams’ offensive line.
Sports reporter Rodrick Anderson of The American Press lists the Westlake offensive line as the pre-season “Best Offensive Line” in the Southwest Louisiana region.
The Rams will utilize a 3-4 defensive alignment to curtail opposing offenses.
The Westlake defensive line will be consisted of defensive lineman Eli Goss, nose guard Ced Francis and defensive lineman Kyle Miller.
Senior Jonathan Koonce, Michael Harlow, Tristen Johnson and Alex Mayeux will main the linebacker positions for Westlake.

On special teams, Michael Harlow will handle the punting duties while the return positions will be filled by January on punts and kickoffs and J.J. Ross on kickoffs only.
