West St. John’s Kylan Duhe named Metro Prep Player of the Week

West St. John running back Kylan Duhe

Running back Kylan Duhe is the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl/Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, CrescentCitySports.com, WGSO 990 AM and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for week six of the prep football season.

Duhe had an amazing performance as West St. John pummeled Houma Christian 61-0 in a District 8-1A contest at Houma. The senior rushed 13 times for 218 yards and six touchdowns and caught two passes for 101 yards and a seventh touchdown for the Rams.

Duhe is coached by Brandon Walters. He will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club on Dec. 11 at Rock’n’Bowl, 3016 South Carrollton Avenue, where the club meets weekly each Tuesday during the football season.
