Ouachita’s Todd Garvin accepted the football head coaching job at West Monroe.

An introductory press conference is scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

“I just feel blessed,” Garvin told The Ouachita Citizen.

Garvin, a former West Monroe assistant, compiled a 15-10 record with the Lions the past two seasons. He replaces Rebels head coach. With the Rebels, he replaces Jerry Arledge who recently announced his retirement from coaching. Arledge will continue to serve as West Monroe’s athletic director.
