West Monroe and Ouachita Parish cancel rest of football regular season

West Monroe Rebels

A pair of District 2-5A football teams are done for the regular season.

Both West Monroe and Ouachita Parish have canceled its final two regular season games due to COVID-19 concerns. Both teams have been placed in quarantine with both hoping to return for the playoffs.

West Monroe was scheduled to host Pineville this week in district play.

Pineville will now travel to Live Oak Friday night as Live Oak had its scheduled game with Scotlandville canceled.

West Monroe’s annual rivalry game at Ruston on Nov. 20 also will not take place.

Ouachita Parish has canceled Friday night’s home district game with Alexandria and its game next week with Pineville.
