Weather leads to cancelation of Friday doubleheader of Northwestern State vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

NATCHITOCHES – Friday’s Southland Conference doubleheader between Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Northwestern State has been canceled because of continued rain in the area.

Overnight rain and the expectation of more throughout the afternoon led to the cancelation of the twin bill. The Islanders (24-27, 20-14) and Demons (27-24, 20-16) will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday following Senior Day ceremonies for eight Northwestern State players.
