With opponents unable to play due to the impact of Hurricane Ida, a pair of teams not far apart from neighboring districts will play in week two of the prep football season.

Walker of District 4-5A will take on St. Amant of 5-5A at Dutchtown High School Saturday at 6 p.m.

The Wildcats were scheduled to play at Fontainebleau while the Gators were supposed to entertain Booker T. Washington of New Orleans but neither the Bulldogs or Lions are playing this week.

Walker had its season opener with Ponchatoula canceled while St. Amant had its season opener with Carver canceled as well.
