Former Southeastern and Loranger High left-hander Wade Miley has signed a one-year, $4.5 million contract with the Houston Astros, according to multiple reports.

The 32-yard old’s new deal includes $500,000 in incentives. Last season, he posted a 2.57 ERA and an 5-2 record in 16 starts with the Milwaukee Brewers during the regular season and shined even brighter in the playoffs with a 1.23 ERA over 14 2/3 innings in four postseason starts.

Miley, a 2012 MLB All-Star, joins his sixth team after eight seasons in the majors.
