Area Prep Volleyball Report for Tuesday, Sept. 29

For a while, it looked like it would be a down Monday for West St. John.

The Rams fell behind the proverbial 8-ball, down two sets to rival St. James as the Wildcats were rolling.

Then, the Wildcats were tamed.

West St. John rallied for an 18-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-13, 15-8 victory at Edgard.

The Rams (3-5) return to action today, traveling to Metairie to take on Ecole Classique at 5 p.m. in their District 8-V opener while St. James (0-3) travels to Ascension Christian Friday at 5 p.m.

Abramson Sci Academy remained unbeaten with a solid 25-16, 25-10, 22-25, 25-20 road victory at Martin Luther King Charter.

It was the second win in five days for Abramson over M.L. King Charter.

The Commodores (4-0) return to action today, hosting Haynes Academy at 4:30 p.m. while M.L. King Charter (1-4) hosts Douglass Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
