Volleyball Report: Warren Easton remains unbeaten in district with win over McDonogh 35

While Cabrini is the top team in District 7-II, you cannot sleep on Warren Easton.

The Eagles whipped McDonogh 35 by scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-9 Thursday at home for their sixth consecutive victory.

With the win, Easton improved to 19-8 overall and 5-1 in district play. The Roneagles fell to 5-17 overall and finished district play 0-6 with their 11th straight loss.

Warren Easton was 15th in the most recent Division II power ratings and the win helps the Eagles in their quest to get a home match in the opening round of the state playoffs.

The Eagles are at Ben Franklin next Tuesday at 4 p.m. in district play.
