In Old Metairie, defending Division V state champion Country Day (7-1) hosts Academy of The Sacred Heart (3-4) at 5:30 p.m.

The Cajuns have ripped off seven straight wins after opening the season with a loss to three-time defending Division I state champion Mount Carmel. The Cardinals have losses to St. Scholastica, John Curtis Christian, Ursuline and Archbishop Chapelle.

Mount Carmel (10-1) faces a rematch with Archbishop Hannan (8-4) at 5:30 in Lakeview. The Cubs defeated the Hawks 25-20, 26-24 Saturday on the road. The Cubs’ only loss was to Northshore, whom they later defeated. Two of the Hawks’ defeats have come against out-of-state opponents.
