Volleyball: Hahnville takes round one from Destrehan
Area Prep Volleyball Report for Wednesday, Oct. 3
In the battle for first place in District 6-I, the first round goes to Hahnville.
The Tigers fought off Destrehan 25-16, 27-25, 21-25, 25-18 at Destrehan Wednesday to remain unbeaten in district play and alone in first place.
The win was the fourth straight for the Tigers (14-10, 4-0).
The two rivals will meet again at Hahnville on Oct. 17.
Hahnville will host Thibodaux Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in district play while Destrehan (17-10, 3-1) returns to district play this afternoon at H.L. Bourgeois at 4 p.m. The Braves are 3-1 in district play.
