Volleyball: Belle Chasse, Warren Easton continue win streaks Monday

Area Prep Volleyball Report for Tuesday, Sept. 24

Make it eight straight wins for Belle Chasse.

The Cardinals rolled at home over East St. John 25-11, 25-2, 25-14 Monday afternoon.

Belle Chasse (17-2) was sixth in the latest LHSAA Division II power rankings released a week ago but the Cardinals are sure to rise with all eight victories coming since those rankings were released following a loss to Chalmette a week ago.

The Cardinals return to action today, hosting Lusher Charter at 5:30 p.m.

Warren Easton made it four straight wins with a 25-19, 25-6, 20-25, 25-19 victory over Douglass at home Monday.

The Eagles (10-3) were 15th in last week’s LHSAA power rankings but will move up. Easton is at East St. John today at 4:30 p.m.
