Video: Tim Duncan introduced as new UNO Athletic Director

University of New Orleans President John Nicklow introduced Tim Duncan as the school’s new athletic director at a news conference in the Homer Hitt Alumni and Visitors Center ballroom on Tuesday.

Duncan, a Memphis native, will take over the role on June 3 after finishing his current duties as the deputy athletic director for external affairs at Northeastern University in Boston. He has held leadership roles at both NCAA Division I and Division II institutions, including serving as director of athletics on two different occasions. During his college years, Duncan was a student-athlete on the men’s basketball team for his hometown school, the University of Memphis (known as Memphis State at the time).
