Video: Brother Martin’s Catalinotto is perfect in city bowling tournament
Ashton Catalinotto gave himself a pretty good graduation present Sunday.
Catalinotto, a senior at Brother Martin, fired his first career 300 game in the Greater New Orleans USBC City Tournament at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.
Catalinotto was the Outstanding Bowler in the Crusaders’ unprecedented fifth straight state championship March 31 in Gonzales. His 222 average during the high school season was the highest in the New Orleans region this year.
The 300 game comes one day before Catalinotto and the other Brother Martin seniors will receive their diplomas.
The annual City Tournament, which concluded Sunday afternoon, features adult and youth divisions. There were a pair of 300s in the adult division Saturday afternoon.
