VCU infielder Ben Nippolt transfers to LSU
With the loss of recent transfer infielders Jack Pineda and Carter Young to the MLB Draft, LSU head coach looked to the portal for more help in that area.
Former VCU infielder Ben Nippolt has announced his decision to transfer to LSU.

The St. Paul, Minnesota native was a first-team All-Atlantic 10 performer last season for the conference champion Rams. He hit .308 with 31 RBI, striking out just 19 times in 172 at bats. Nippolt has experience at second base, shortstop and third base.
