CoronaVirus Precautions for New Orleans Athletics
`
NEW ORLEANS – In response to decisions announced today by the University of New Orleans, Privateer Athletics will implement new attendance protocols for home events. The measures will be in place effective Friday, March 13, 2020. All home events and practices will occur as originally scheduled.

Attendance at all New Orleans home athletics events – both for UNO and its opponents – will be limited to:
• Coaches and the respective student-athletes
• Essential personnel as designated by New Orleans Athletics (communications, gameday, athletic training, etc…)
• Officials
• Media

We regret that our fans will not be able to attend the affected home events, but all games will be streamed on UNOPrivateers.com/watch free of charge.

Please note: These measures were taken with the thought of prioritizing the health and well-being of our student-athletes and campus community. New Orleans Athletics will continue to take direction from the University and its COVID-19 Task Force.

We will continue to post updates on UNOPrivateers.com and on social media when information is available. Official messages from the University are available at UNO.edu.

All questions regarding the stream of games or how to access #NOLAsTeam online, and fans who already have purchased tickets to any affected competition can contact Kelvin Queliz (kqueliz@uno.edu / 917-683-6517).

FROM THE UNIVERSITY
Campus Dining will have modified offerings and hours of operation. The Earl K. Long Library will remain open with adjusted hours. For details on both, visit our COVID-19 FAQ page. A few select campus buildings will close to discourage large communal gatherings. The Cove will close starting on Thursday and the Recreation and Fitness Center will close beginning on Monday.

We continue to accumulate valuable information on the virus as well as all of our previous communications on the University’s COVID-19 web page.
