Tyrann Mathieu agrees to big free agent deal with Chiefs
Former LSU and St. Augustine defensive back Tyrann Mathieu is headed to the Kansas City Chiefs on a three-year, $42 million deal, ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported Monday.

Mathieu played five seasons for the Arizona Cardinals before inking a one year deal with the Houston Texans last year.
An All-American at LSU in 2011, Mathieu earned the nickname “Honey Badger” as a dynamic playmaker on defense and a dangerous return man for the Tigers.
