LSU had representatives on both sides of the ball on the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-American team Monday.

Wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and cornerback Elias Ricks were announced as selections to the 2020 squad.

Boutte, the Westgate High product, finished the season with 45 receptions for 735 yards and five touchdowns. Ricks was second in the SEC with four interceptions and returned three of them for touchdowns.

A pair of New Orleanians – former Holy Cross linebacker Tyler Grubbs and defensive end Khari Coleman out of Carver – also made the list on defense.
