Clark was ULM’s leading scorer and an All-Sun Belt selection

NEW ORLEANS – Third Team All-Sun Belt Conference guard Arsula Clark will be transferring to join the Green Wave women’s basketball team, Coach Lisa Stockton announced on Tuesday.

“We are very excited to welcome Arsula to the Tulane family,” Stockton said. “Arsula has great athleticism, and her experience and ability to score will be great assets for us.”

Clark played her first two years at ULM, scoring 10.4 points per game for the team as a freshman and upping that total to a team-best 14.2 points per game as a sophomore. She was named Third Team All-Sun Belt following her terrific sophomore season and also earned Third Team All-Louisiana honors from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

As a freshman, Clark scored in double figures 15 times and led the Warhawks in rebounding, assists, steals and blocked shots.

In her sophomore year, she upped that double-figure total to 19 games and set a career high with 33 points against Arkansas State. She tallied five double-doubles on the season and had a career-best 14 rebounds in that Arkansas State game as well. Averaging a team-high 7.3 boards per game, Clark also led ULM in steals, was second on the team in assists and third in blocked shots.

Originally from Douglasville, Georgia, Clark will wear jersey No. 0 for the Green Wave. At Douglas County High School, she helped her team to a 28-2 finish as a junior. She earned All-Country and Honorable Mention All-State recognition as well.
