Tulane University Athletics announces CoronaVirus precautions
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Athletics announced today that attendance at all home athletic events beginning Friday, March 13, 2020 will be limited to the following:
-Student-athletes and coaches
-Immediate family of competing student-athletes
-Athletic staff personnel
Tulane athletics’ official position comes in response to the NCAA’s COVID-19 Advisory Panel decision and the rapid spread of COVID-19 throughout the United States. In order to slow the spread of the disease, the NCAA Advisory Panel recommends that sporting events should not be open to the general public.
Tulane will continue to post updates on TulaneGreenWave.com and on the department’s primary social media platforms @TulaneAthletics.
