Tulane names former Saints, LSU assistant Greg McMahon as new special teams coordinator
Tulane has hired former Saints and LSU assistant Greg McMahon as special teams coordinator, the program announced Wednesday.

The 63-year old McMahon spent 11 years coaching special teams with the Saints (2006-2016) including their Suepr Bowl season (2009). He joined LSU’s staff in 2017 stayed through 2021, coaching the special teams for the Tigers’ 15-0 national title winning squad in 2019.
McMahon coached special teams for the USFL’s Houston Gamblers in 2022 and the XFL’s Houston Roughnecks in 2023.
