Tulane Men’s Basketball unveils first Mardi Gras-themed uniforms

NEW ORLEANS – For the first time in school history, the Tulane men’s basketball program will celebrate the Carnival season with Mardi Gras-inspired alternate uniforms.

The uniform becomes the fifth in the Green Wave’s current inventory this season, joining their whites, greens, blacks and blues, respectively.

Tulane will don the new threads for four games, beginning Wednesday, January 31 for the 5:30 p.m. (CT) contest at ECU, following by the Sunday, February 4 home tilt against Temple at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 8 at Tulsa at 6 p.m., and for a final time at Houston on Sunday, February 11 at 5 p.m. All four matchups will be televised nationally, including the first three on ESPNews and the last on ESPNU.
