Caleb Daniels

Tulane leading scorer Caleb Daniels has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal but the sophomore guard confirmed her could still end up staying with the Green Wave, he confirmed via Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

Evan Daniels of 247 Sports tweeted earlier Wednesday that the St. Aug product who averaged a team-best 16.9 points was transferring.

The 6-foot-4 Daniels then tweeted he was re-opening his recruitment and consider entering the NBA Draft. His former high school coach Mitchell Johnson told WGNO Sports the future of Daniels is indeed very much up in the air:

Daniels chose Tulane out of high school over offers from UNO, UL Lafayette, Rice, Texas State, UNC-Asheville and VCU.
