Tulane will  join LaSalle, Towson and Alabama A&M in the four-team “Battle at the Boardwalk” men’s basketball tournament Dec. 21-22 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Boardwalk Hall will host the two-day tournament. Tulane will meet Towson in and LaSalle will face Alabama A&M in the opening-round matchups, with the winners and losers meeting the following day.

Tulane has traditionally attempted to schedule non-conference events in both football and men’s basketball in the New York/New Jersey area, where it has a strong alumni base. In recent years, it has faced Army and Rutgers in football and played neutral-site games in men’s basketball at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The Green Wave has not yet released its full non-conference schedule for 2018-19.
