Tulane announces 2022 football schedule

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University announced its 2022 football schedule in conjunction with the American Athletic Conference office on Thursday.

The Green Wave’s upcoming slate features seven home games and a pair of weeknight night matchups with Houston and SMU. Both weeknight games will be designated for a national television slot at a later date.

The Green Wave’s home schedule inside Yulman Stadium includes non-conference matchups against UMASS (Sept. 3), Alcorn State (Sept. 10) and Southern Mississippi (Sept. 24). Tulane also will welcome league opponents East Carolina (Oct. 8 – Hall of Fame), Memphis (Oct. 22 – Homecoming), UCF (Nov. 12) and SMU (Nov. 17). The seven home games this season are the most at Yulman Stadium since the venue opened in 2014.

The Green Wave’s five road games will include trips to Kansas State (Sept. 17), Houston (Sept. 29 or 30), USF (Oct. 15), Tulsa (Nov. 5) and Cincinnati (Nov. 25 or 26).

Tulane will also honor their 2020-21 Hall of Fame Class back to Yulman Stadium on Sept. 24, as well as introduce the 2022 Hall of Fame Class on Oct. 8.
