Tioga’s Blake McGehee, Parkview Baptist’s Audrey Greely lead Class 4A All-State teams

Tioga High’s Blake McGehee and Audrey Greely of Parkview Baptist headline the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s Class 4A All-State baseball and softball teams.

McGehee, a sophomore, led the Indians to their first LHSAA baseball title in 32 years with a 10-2 record on the mound and a 1.07 ERA. He batted .343 average and finished with 23 RBIs.

Greely, a center-fielder and a Southeastern Louisiana University signee, batted .684 with eight home runs and 29 RBI for Parkview, the Division II select runner-up.

Longtime Buckeye coach Darlene Wiley was named as the Class 4A Coach of the Year for guiding the Lady Panthers to Sulphur for the first time in five seasons and to the 4A championship game — their first title game appearance since 2012.
Lakeshore coach Steve Ceravalo was named as the Coach of the Year in baseball after guiding the Titans to the 4A semifinals in Sulphur for the first time in program history.

McGehee is one of three Indians to make the team. joining infielder Terence Grines and outfielder Issac Williams. Parkview pitcher Kassie Salling and infielder Madison Watson join Greely on the softball squad.
