Week six gets underway with 20 games around the state.

In a good matchup in north Louisiana, three-time defending Class 4A state champion Karr makes the long trek to Monroe to take on a hot Wossman squad. The Wildcats have won four straight games after dropping their season opener to Bastrop. The Cougars are 2-2 and coming off of an off week. Karr lost its games to Division I powers John Curtis Christian and Catholic of Baton Rouge.

In the LHSAA Game of the Week on CrescentCitySports.com, Cedar Creek hosts Ouachita Christian at 7 p.m. at Cougar Field.

The Cougars (4-1, 2-0) have won four straight after losing their season opener to Loyola Prep. Senior quarterback Brooks Auger leads the way while Jared Miller and Jed Worthy each rushed for over 100 yards in a 44-6 win over Tensas last week.
