Three Booker T. Washington Lions sign football letters of intent

It was a good day for Booker T. Washington High School on National Recruiting Signing Day.
Three Lions signed letters of intent to play college football Wednesday.
Damian Alexander, who plays defensive back and slot receiver, signed with Lamar, wide receiver Tyrese Johnson inked with Memphis and wide receiver/defensive back Coryell Pierce signed with Southeastern Louisiana.
Alexander (5-10, 179) had an offers from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Austin Peay, Prairie View A&M, Southeastern Louisiana and Southern as well.
Johnson (6-2, 190) had previously committed to Arizona before opening up his recruitment again. Along with Arizona, Johnson had offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Florida State, Houston, Kansas, Louisiana Tech, Michigan State, South Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana, SMU, Tennessee, Tulane, UCF and Virginia.
Pierce (5-11, 175) is also a star on the Booker T. Washington basketball team.
