Former Texas Tech quarterback Jett Duffey appeared to be headed to Tulane as a graduate transfer just a few days ago. Now is will enroll at Central Michigan to play for former Florida head coach head coach Jim McElwain.

All set to enroll at Tulane on January 8, Duffey’s plans changed for still unknown reasons. He passed for 2,840 yards, 18 touchdowns and 5 interceptions, completing 65% of his throws this past season for the Red Raiders.

At CMU, Duffey will likely replace starter Quinten Dormady, who has graduated after leading the Chippewas to the MAC title game.
