Teurlings Catholic at St. Charles Catholic is The Hash It Out Show Game Of The Week audio stream

The Teurlings Catholic Rebels and the St. Charles Catholic Comets will clash on the gridiron in The Hash It Out Show Game Of The Week.

The pair of state powers face off Friday night at Thomas J. Dupuy Stadium in LaPlace.

Teurlings Catholic is coming off a 45-14 victory against Avoyelles last week. Preston Welch completed 6-of-8 attempts for 149 yards and four touchdowns. Bradford Cain is one of many receiving targets for Welch and the potent Rebels.

St. Charles Catholic is coming off a last-second 16-14 victory over Lutcher. Tyler Milioto made a 24-yard field goal as time expired to cap a clutch final drive in LaPlace.

The Comets are led by senior quarterback Brady St. Pierre who threw for 192 passing yards. Senior running back Jeremiah Willis and sophomore running back Skylar Edwards have scored a pair of touchdowns. St. Charles Catholic also has a stout defense led by three seniors – defensive end Jaden Breaux, defensive tackle Matthew Loup and linebacker Kyle Cannon.

In a tight battle last season, Teurlings Catholic rallied to get a 28-22 home victory against St. Charles Catholic.

The Rebels play in one of the toughest districts in the state of Louisiana. The Comets, defending two-time state champions, are on a nine-game winning streak and have not lost since falling 35-25 to St. Martinville on Oct. 14, 2022.

The Hash It Out Show Game of The Week audio broadcast will start with a pregame show at 6:20 p.m. and then kickoff at 7 p.m. on TSBN Sports.

V.K. Jones, George Pepis and Jarryd Boyd will have the call of the game.

The Hash It Out Show Game of The Week will also feature weekly regular season games plus LHSAA football playoff matchups all the way to the state semifinals.
