The Pittsburgh Steelers made a move on Monday to sign a former New Orleans Saints tackle to respond to the loss of former LSU offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins.

The Steelers have signed free-agent tackle Bryce Harris, according to reporter Eric Edholm.

Harris, 29, has four career starts and 36 of his 37 career NFL games played with the Saints (2012-14 and 2017).

The West St. Mary alum Hawkins, 24, suffered a torn quadricep last week with Pittsburgh during OTAs and could miss the upcoming season.
