St. Paul’s, SSA continue winning ways on lanes

The win streaks continued Monday for St. Paul’s and St. Scholastica on the lanes.
The Wolves downed Hammond 22-5 at Tangi Lanes in Hammond.
Jonathan Wellmeyer led the way for the Wolves (7-1) with a 643 series on games of 183-242-218. Matthew Aupied had games of 214 and 171 and Joseph Brown shot games of 208 and 187. Riley Perez added a 195 for St. Paul’s.
Blake Opal was high in the pit, firing a 660 series for the Tornadoes (3-6) on games of 264-203-193. Richard Plauche had games of 196 and 182 while Noah Vernon shot games of 179 and 170.
St. Scholastica downed Ponchatoula 17-10.
Aubry Hymel led the way for the Doves (8-1) with a 553 series on games of 204-184-165 while Katie Garraway had games of 192 and 161.
Alana Knight was best for the Green Wave (3-5) with a 544 series on games of 203-189-152 while Katie Watts had games of 189 and 173. Alexis Newman added a 189 game for Ponchatoula.
