St. Paul’s QB Jack Mashburn named Metro Prep Player of Week
St. Paul’s quarterback Jack Mashburn is the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl/Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club, CrescentCitySports.com, WGSO 990 AM and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for the metro New Orleans area for week four.
The senior guided St. Paul’s to a 45-16 win at Northshore to open District 6-5A play. Mashburn completed 15-of-28 passes for 192 yards and a touchdown and he rushed 19 times for 129 yards and four touchdowns.
Mashburn is coached by Ken Sears. He will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Rock’n’Bowl, 3016 South Carrollton Avenue, where the club meets weekly at noon during the football season.
