Area Prep Soccer Report for Sunday, Dec. 6

At the prestigious Copa Acadiana Tournament, St. Paul’s, Lusher Charter, E.D. White Catholic, David Thibodaux and Westminster Christian won titles in their respective brackets.

In the White division, Westminster Christian edged Lafayette Christian 2-1 for the title.

In the Navy division, David Thibodaux and South Terrebonne played to a scoreless tie with David Thibodaux taking the title 4-3 on penalty kicks.

In the Orange Premier division, E.D. White Catholic downed Pope John Paul II 1-0.

In the Grey Premier final, Lusher Charter and Holy Cross tied 1-1 with the Lions taking the title in penalty kicks by a 5-4 conversion margin.

In the Super Cup final, St. Paul’s blanked Catholic of Baton Rouge 2-0 for the championship.
